4 days trip from Ouarzazate to Merzouga program :

Day1: Arrival at Ouarzazate
We pick you up from the airport of Ouarzazate and transfer to the hotel.
We will spend this night of our trip from Ouarsasate to Merzouga in the hotel.

Day 2 : Ouarzazate – Roses valley – Dades gorges- Todgha gorges- Erfoud – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi dunes)
After breakfast, we continue our adventure from Ouarzazate to Merzouga and its famous dunes of Erg Chebbi. Along the road, we will pass through Kelaa Mgouna (Valley of Roses, where the festival of roses is organized every year in April and May). Also we will pass through many Berber villages and cities such as Boumalne Dades and Todgha Gorges to enjoy their wonderful panoramic views of the Canyons as we walk. We will continue our way between palm groves. We will make a stop for lunch at a local restaurant. We will arrive at the city of Erfoud to visit a local fossil workshop whre fossilized marble plates are transformed into real objects of arts.
Then we will continue to reach the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi. An incredibly beautiful expanse of undulating dunes, also known as the Dunes of Merzouga. This is a great opportunity to see the magical sunset and sunrise and to take beautiful pictures. It is also the opportunity to explore the secrets of the Sahara and its limitless horizons. We will spend the night in a charming Berber camp at the middle of the Sahara desert.

Day 3 : the visit of Merzouga – Nomads – Rissani – Camel trekking (Desert camp)
In the morning after breakfast, we continue our trip from Ouarzazate to Merzouga. we will visit the village of Khamlia. This famous village is known for its Gnawa music native to the great African Sahara. We will visit some desert mines and we will share a mint tea with a Berber nomad family in a oasis of palm trees. After that we will drive through the black desert (Hamada) and the road of the DAKAR Rally.
Later we will continue driving to reach Rissani where you can walk through the most authentic and traditional souk in Morocco and the largest one in southern Morocco. Here you can buy all kinds of handicrafts, food and animals. Market days are Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays when people from all the area come to bring their goods. We will eat madfouna (the Berber stuffed pizza) in a local family house. After the delicious berber pizza, we will return to the dunes of Merzouga. At the end of the afternoon, we will ride camels to spend a magic night in a desert camp well equipped with music in the middle of the Sahara desert. This is a great opportunity to see the amazing sunset and to take beautiful for memories.

Day 4 : Merzouga – Tazarine – Draa valley – Ouarzazate
It is highly recommended to get up early to see the spectacular sunrise. The color of the dunes and the shape of the shadows combined in one incredible sight. After that we will continue our trip. We will continue to the Dra’a Valley through the village of Tazzarine (featured in the movie “Babel”). Then, We will continue driving to the wild desert to have a picnic under the shade of an acacia tree (class of “wild cooking” included). In the afternoon, the journey will take us along the old caravan road to discover the real Dra’a Valley with its huge palm trees and ancient villages. Our day ends in Ouarzazate. Dinner and accommodation in a charming Riad.
