The 8 days tour from Casablanca program :
Day 1 :Arrival at Casablanca – Chefchaouen
Arrival at Casablanca airport. Meeting and transfer to the blue city Chefchaouen via Rabat with the possibility to visit the political capital of Morocco if time allows it. We will make a stop on the way to take beautiful pictures for memories and to take coffee and fresh air. We will spend this night of our trip in Morocco in a Riad in the old medina (walled city).
Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Fez
After breakfast in your Riad, free morning to explore the Medina of Chefchaouen. A beautiful and unique city with its white walls and blue doors and windows. This city was occupied by Spain and the influences of Spanish civilization and architecture are present throughout. You will also have the opportunity to meet locals and walk through its beautiful Medina. Lunch in Chefchaouen (optional). After that we will drive along the Rif mountains with a short stop at the Roman ruins of Volubilis (free time to walk and explore). Our journey will end in Fez. We will spend the night in a charming Riad in the medina of Fez.
Day 3 : Visit of Fez with a local guide
This day of your vacation in Morocco is devoted to explore the cultural capital of Morocco Fez with a local guide. The visit of the oldest imperial city in Morocco allows you to visit many famous sites if time allows. We will visit the Medersa (koranic school) Attarin and Bou-Inania, the Quaraouiyine Mosque wich is the oldest university in the world that was founded by Fatima Al Fihria at the 9th century. We will also visit the Nejjarine Fountain and Museum, Bab Boujloud, the blue and green door, Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II, Chouwara Tanneries that gives the feeling of traveling back in time. Our visit will include The water clock dating from the 14th century, Souks(old markets) and Traditional Ceramics and Merenid Tombs.
After lunch, free afternoon to relax or to enjoy the streets of the old medina. Accommodation for the night in a Riad.
Day 4 : Fez – Ifrane – Ziz valley– Erfoud – Merzouga
The morning after reakfast we will pick you up at your hotel or Riad, then we continue the activity of your vacation in Morocco taking the road to the famous desert of Merzouga. We will pass through Ifrane (the Switzerland of Africa ) with its completely European style and the typology of its houses. We will pass through Azrou crossing the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas where a spacy of wild monkeys live and that can often be seen. Amazing natural landscapes all along the path. We continue the road to arrive at Midelt wich is famous for its apple trees. We will make a stop in Midelt for lunch break or we will do some shopping (vegetables and fruits) and to have a picnic on board of the river.
After lunch we will continue crossing the gorges of the Ziz valley with its palm groves and many typical Berber villages to arrive at Erfoud to visit a local fossil workshop to allow you to have an idea about how plates of fossils and fossilized marble are transformed into real objects of arts as like as sinks, plates, vases, tables etc. After the visit we will continue our path to reach the fascinating dunes of Erg Chebbi also known as the Dunes of Merzouga. Upon arrival at Merzouga, camel ride to access to the sahara desert camp in the middle of dunes to spend this night in a berber tent(khaima). We will enjoy the magical sunset from the Erg Chebbi dunes and an unforgettable night under the sky with clear stars and under the rythms of local music around a campfire.
Day 5 : Merzouga – Todra gorges– Dades gorges
We will get up early the morning to see the spectacular sunrise and to enjoy a delecious breakfast at the camp then camel ride back to the Merzouga to meet your driver. The itinerary of this day of your vacation in Morocco will take us to the Todra Gorges to enjoy the wonderful views of its canyons walls walking through them. After that we will continue our way through the Berber villages and palm groves. We will make a stop on the way to take lunch in a local restaurant. Then we will cross the city of Boumalen Dades to reach the Dades Gorges where we will spend this night of our trip in a charming hotel. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 6 : Dades gorges – Valle of roses – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Today after breakfast we will take the road direction to Marrakech. We will pas through Kelaa Mgouna (Valley of Roses) the capital of roses in Morocco known for its festival of roses organized between April and May when you can buy a bouquet of roses. Then we will continue to Ouarzazate the Hollywood of Africa thanks to its cinema studios which hosted many international film productions such as «The kingdom of heaven», «The Mummy», «Asterix and Obelix» and many others. After that we will follow the road along the Ounila Valley and at just 40 kms from the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, we will see the Kasbah of Telouet on the path of old caravans that links the Sahara to Marrakech in the Atlas Mountains .
Marrakech was the seat of power of the El Glaoui family. King Moulay Hassan gave them political power in south of Morocco. The Glaoui was almost powerful as the Sultan himself. The palace of Pacha Glaoui can still be visited, but it is increasingly damaged and is slowly collapsing. At 2010, work was underway to restore the property. If you have the opportunity on Thursday, you will visit a traditional souk in the Atlas village. Lunch in the Atlas Mountains. After that we will cross the Tizi-n-Tichka pass to reach Marrakech. We will arrive at Marrakech late the afternoon or early the evening. We will spend this night of the 8 days tour from Casablanca in a Riad in the Medina of Marrakech.
Day 7 : Visit of the red city Marrakech with local guide
The City Sightseeing Tour includes the following key sites, you will choose between a half day or a full day tour. We will visit Souks, Jewish quarter(Mellah), the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Minaret and garden, Saadian tombs, Ben Youssef Koranic School, Apothecary (Berber pharmacy of spices, herbs and oils). We will also visit the Majorelle Gardens with a nice museum of Amazigh (Berber) costumes and jewelry. If you choose half day tour, free afternoon and if you prefer full day tour, we will continue exploring this beautiful city.
We will enjoy the night in Jamaa el Fna square. live music, fortune tellers, snake charmers, storytellers ..etc.

Day 8 : Marrakech – back to Casablanca
After breakfast, we take the road back to Casablanca airport.
