This is an ideal excursion to Zagora that will take you through the beauty of the southern region, where you will see mountains, oases, valleys, Berber villages and the immense sand dunes of Zagora.
Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora
We will pick you up at your hotel to start this excursion from Marrakech to Zagora. We will cross the High Atlas mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass. On the way you can see Berber traditional villages. We continue driving until we reach Ouarzazate. This pearl in the south of Morocco is called the Hollywood of Africa thanks to its cinema studios that hosted many international movies. We will make a stop for lunch in a local estaurant.
After lunch we will visit the Kasbah Taourirt After that we continue the path passing through the Valley of the Palm groves where we will make a stop to admire the impressive palm trees plantation and to take beautiful pictures for memories. The we continue driving to arrive at Zagora. Upon arrival we let the 4X4 and we drive camels to access to sahara desert cam to spend the night of this private tour from Marrakech to Zagora in a nomadic tent.
Day 2: Zagora – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
We will get up early to admire the magical sunrise from the heart of moroccan desert. Then we will take breakfast. After that camel ride back to the hotel to take the 4X4 vehicle and to drive following the same path of the Dra’a Valley, Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou wich was the filmset of many international movies such as: Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator, and many others. We will explore this world heritage site and at Lunch time we will stop for lunch break in a local restaurant. After that we will continue the way to arrive at Marrakech crossing the High Atlas Mountains.
